Should a father who drinks alcohol, molests, beats, abuses, and causes the death of his children be considered a father, and what are his rights over his children?

If the father is committing major sins or is characterized by bad morals, his right over his daughter does not fall, and she must accompany him with kindness. It is not permissible to obey him in disobedience [to Allah] or to aid him in evil. If he harasses her, it is not permissible to enable him, and she must avoid being alone with him and take precautions, while enjoining him to good and forbidding him from evil gently and wisely, and supplicating for his guidance.
