However, it is not permissible for her to affiliate herself with anyone other than her biological father, due to the Almighty’s saying: (Call them by [the names of] their fathers), and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "He who affiliates himself with other than his father, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind."
