Should one distance oneself from the university prayer room and leave the matter to God, while hoping to associate with a committed and pious young man, which causes distraction in one's studies?

It is permissible for a woman to offer herself to a righteous man and inform him of her desire for him, provided she does not fall into doubtful situations, especially in mixed environments, while observing the Shariah aspects in all matters related to engagement and so forth.
