Scholars have differed regarding the location of the (Paradise) where Adam and Hawwa (Eve) were. The majority of them believe it was Jannah al-Khuld (the Eternal Paradise) in the heavens, while others held that it was an earthly garden prepared by Allah for them as a trial. Ibn Kathir favored the view of the majority, based on evidence mentioned in his and his book "Qisas al-Anbiya" (Stories of the Prophets).
