Is it permissible for a Muslim to offer condolences upon the death of an actress or female artist known for immoral and dissolute acts by saying: "May Allah reward you greatly" (A'adhamallahu Ajrakum)?

There is no harm in offering condolences to the family of an open sinner known for their transgressions, due to the general legitimacy of offering condolences in times of calamity. Indeed, it is recommended for a Muslim sinner. There is no objection to supplicating for their forgiveness and mercy. They should be washed and prayed over, but prominent Muslims should not lead the prayer over them; rather, some of the common people should. As for offering condolences to the general Muslim populace, there is no place for it. Rather, it is more fitting to congratulate them on the death of someone whose life was characterized by spreading evil, indecency, and innovations. Muslims rejoice at the death of those who harm people and lands, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The servants, the lands, the trees, and the animals are relieved of him." The Salaf rejoiced at the death of the leaders of misguidance and thanked Allah for it.
