You are permitted to shorten and combine prayers if you travel from your workplace before sunset on Wednesday and return during the day on Saturday, because you are staying in the capital for less than four days, and the days of arrival and departure are not counted. However, if you intend to stay four days or more, you are considered a resident and are required to pray in full.
