What are the useful and easy books on Maliki fiqh in English that are suitable for me and my young children, bearing in mind that "Al-Muwatta'" and "Al-Mudawwana" are not suitable, and "Mukhtasar Khalil" is not available in English?

To study Maliki Fiqh, it is recommended to start with concise texts, then intermediate, and then extensive ones, as follows:

1. First Stage: "Al-Murshid al-Mu'in" by Ibn Ashir, with commentaries such as "Al-Habl al-Matin" by al-Muwaqqit or "Al-Durr al-Thamin" by Mayyarah. 2. Second Stage: "Al-Risalah al-Fiqhiyyah" by Ibn Abi Zayd al-Qayrawani, with commentaries such as those by al-Manufi or Zarruq, and "Al-Fawakih al-Dawani" by al-Nafrawi, and the commentary "Gharib al-Risalah" by Ibn Hamamah. 3. Third Stage: "Al-Sharh al-Saghir 'ala Aqrab al-Masalik" by al-Dardir, with al-Sawi's gloss "Bulghat al-Salik." 4. Fourth Stage: "Al-Ma'unah 'ala Madhhab 'Alim al-Madinah" by Al-Qadi Abd al-Wahhab. 5. Fifth Stage (for expansion): "Mukhtasar Khalil ibn Ishaq," with commentaries such as "Al-Sharh al-Kabir" by al-Dardir or "Mawahib al-Jalil" by al-Hattab.

It is recommended to first study the jurisprudential school prevalent in the student's country due to the availability of books and scholars.
