Is a beauty pageant for roosters, or for the sound of birds, that is held to collect donations, where their owners pay fees to the organization, and prizes are distributed therein to non-donors, considered prohibited gambling?

It is not permissible to take compensation in competitions or bets except for horses, camels, and arrows, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "There is no prize except for an arrow, or a hoof, or a horse's shoe (hoof)," and because they are instruments of war that one is commanded to learn and master. As for the beauty of roosters or the sounds of birds, it is not permissible to give or take compensation for them, because it is an idle and vain amusement.
