What is the ruling of Islamic law concerning a wife whose family compels her to divorce, despite her desire to remain with her husband and their children?

If the wife's family is corrupting her and instigating her to seek divorce without a valid reason, they are unjust aggressors. Striving to separate a husband and wife is a great sin and a grave evil. The wife should return to her home and obey her husband, and it is not permissible for her to obey her family in seeking a divorce without justification. Advise the wife's family and warn them of the impermissibility of their action. Communicate with your wife and remind her of your rights over her. You may involve wise individuals to mediate for reconciliation. If that does not succeed, then the Sharia court is the competent authority.
