Is going to a sorcerer an act of disbelief?
Calling oneself a "spiritual healer" is a deception of sorcerers. Allah the Almighty said about them: "And they learn that which harms them and does not benefit them," and "And the sorcerer will not succeed wherever he goes." Merely going to a healer and then discovering he is a sorcerer does not necessitate disbelief, unless you obey him in an idolatrous act of drawing near to Allah, or believe his claim to know the unseen. You must not return to this sorcerer or others like him, and you should warn your uncle and acquaintances about him, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A believer is not stung from the same hole twice."
