Spouses are advised to frequently supplicate and humble themselves before Allah to facilitate their affairs and bring them together in one country. Procreation is a shared right, and neither spouse is permitted to prevent pregnancy without the other's permission. The husband must provide for his wife's expenses and care during pregnancy, but if he is unable to do so, the wife may use contraception without his knowledge.
