How can one adhere to prayer and improve their relationship with God, especially with limited time, numerous preoccupations, and financial fluctuations?

Abandoning prayer is a serious and grave sin that can even amount to disbelief (kufr). One must hasten to establish it and repent. It should be known that piety (taqwa) towards Allah is a means of facilitation and attracting provision (rizq). Allah the Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him." This is contrary to disobedience, which causes hardship and calamities. Allah the Almighty says: "And whatever calamity strikes you - it is because of what your hands have earned, and He pardons much." Among the things that deprive a person of provision is the sin that befalls him.
