What is the Shar'i ruling on the money I will receive as commission for finding a person who possesses the chemical substance to remove the wax layer from "black euros," and for arranging contact between him and the owners of this money, which was most likely obtained through illicit means?

It is not permissible to cooperate with someone who wishes to convert "black" euros or dollars into circulating currency, because their source is often illicit, and because this is a means of fraud, deception, and unlawfully consuming people's wealth. Much of this money is counterfeit, and fraud is perpetrated under the guise of needing an amount to purchase a chemical substance, after which the swindler flees, leaving behind the counterfeit money. Allah has forbidden cooperation in sin and aggression, as He said: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.
