To what extent are the sayings true that animals and birds do not ruminate or sing and are fearful on the eve of Friday and on Friday morning?
Every Friday, from dawn until sunrise, animals listen intently, out of fear and compassion for the advent of the Hour, with the exception of humans and jinn. Imam Ahmad narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he was sent down, on it he was forgiven, on it he died, and on it the Hour will be established. There is no creature but that it listens intently on Friday, from the time morning breaks until the sun rises, out of fear of the Hour, except for jinn and humans." This matter has not been established for the night of Friday.
