If the seller sells you machinery and fabrics after he has acquired them, this is a permissible sale, whether the price is the same as he bought them for, or less, or more. However, if he lends you their price with usurious interest for you to buy them, or if he concludes the sale with you and then buys them and delivers them to you, or buys them and sells them before taking possession of them, all of that is impermissible. The first is clear usury, the second is selling what one does not possess, which is forbidden, and the third is selling before taking possession, which is prohibited.
