Does the rule of the Mahdi over Muslims according to the Sharia of Allah continue until the appearance of the Dajjal, and does his rule end immediately upon the descent of the Dajjal, or does it continue during his days, or does Allah cause him to die after the descent of the Dajjal, leaving Muslims without a leader in the time of the Dajjal?

The Mahdi will rule the Muslims according to the Sharia of Allah until the emergence of the Dajjal and the descent of Jesus (peace be upon him). When Jesus (peace be upon him) descends, the Amir of the Muslims, the Mahdi, will say to Jesus, "Come, lead us in prayer." Jesus will reply, "No, indeed, some of you are rulers over others; this is an honor from Allah to this Ummah." This confirms that the Mahdi will be the existing Imam at the time of Jesus' descent. It also indicates that it is well-known among Muslims that the Mahdi will appear at the end of time, from the Ahl al-Bayt, to support the religion and establish justice. Muslims will follow him, and he will take control of the Islamic kingdoms. The emergence of the Dajjal and the descent of Jesus (peace be upon him) will occur after him.
