Is anything required of me if I limit myself to performing the obligatory prayers and omit others?

Performing supererogatory acts (Nawafil) is a cause for Allah's love and entry into Paradise. They will also complete any deficiencies in the obligatory prayers (Fara'id) on the Day of Resurrection. There is no sin upon one who limits themselves to the obligatory acts, but persistence in abandoning the Sunnah is blameworthy in Islamic law.
