What is the ruling of the Shari'ah on purchasing a car for work with money earned from working in a café that serves alcoholic beverages, knowing that the worker has not ceased working in this café?

The brother's work in the cafe has two scenarios:

1. If his work involves permissible matters and has no connection to alcohol or forbidden things, then there is no harm in it, and he may benefit from his earnings.

2. If his work involves both permissible and forbidden matters, or if it is connected to forbidden things such as preparing and serving alcohol, then it is not permissible for him to do so because it is considered aiding in sin, as Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." His earnings in such a case are forbidden, and he is not permitted to benefit from them. Rather, he should spend them on the welfare of Muslims or give them to the poor and needy, and he must cease this work.

However, if he is poor and in need, he is permitted to take from it what suffices his needs, even if it is to purchase a car that helps him earn a living, so that he may refrain from forbidden things through it.
