Is a child who dies between the ages of ten and eleven resurrected with Ibrahim (peace be upon him), even if it was predestined for him to be wretched, based on an apparent contradiction between the hadith of Samurah, which states that the Prophet saw with Ibrahim the children of Muslims and polytheists, and the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud, which states that wretchedness or happiness is predestined for the fetus while it is in its mother's womb?

The scholars have used the hadith (definition) of Samurah ibn Jundub as evidence that children who die young, whether they are the children of Muslims or polytheists, are inhabitants of Paradise, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw them around Ibrahim (peace be upon him) in Paradise.

This does not contradict the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud about the writing of the wretched and the blissful while still in their mother's womb, because this writing applies to all creation. The children who die young have all been written among the blissful, or they will be tested on the Day of Judgment and the blissful among them will be written based on the outcome of that test.
