How sound are the following stories mentioned in the book Al-Shifa bi Ta'rif Huquq al-Mustafa: the story of the man who cast his intention into a valley and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, called out to it; the story of Umm al-Ansari, the young woman whose prayer led Allah to return her son to her; the story of Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas who spoke after his burial; and the story of Zayd ibn Kharijah who spoke after his death?

The story of the girl is considered weak because it is mursal (has a missing link in the chain of narration) from Al-Hasan (definition) Al-Basri, who frequently narrates mursal traditions. As for the hadith (definition) of Anas, its chain of narration includes Salih ibn Bashir Al-Murri, who is considered weak by a number of scholars. The story of Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas revolves around Abdullah ibn Ubayd Al-Ansari, who is unknown. In contrast, the story of Zayd ibn Kharijah is well-known, narrated through many authentic channels, and some of its narrations have been authenticated by Al-Hakim and Al-Bayhaqi.
