Can a mother enter Paradise through the supplication of her son who has memorized the Qur’an, and what is the reward for the one who has memorized the Qur’an?
The righteous son benefits his parents in this world and the Hereafter, because he is from their earnings, and they receive a reward similar to his, without anything being diminished from his own reward. This falls under the means that raise their status in Paradise, due to the : "When a person dies, all his deeds cease except for three: a continuous charity, knowledge from which benefit is derived, or a righteous child who prays for him." And the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will raise the rank of the righteous servant in Paradise, and he will say: 'O Lord, how did I attain this?' He will say: 'By your child's supplication for your forgiveness.'" And his saying, peace be upon him: "Indeed, the purest of what a man eats is from his own earning, and his child is from his earning."
Memorizing the Qur'an is one of the greatest blessings that benefits its owner and his parents, as narrated from the Prophet, peace be upon him: "A crown of dignity will be placed on his head, and his parents will be clothed with two garments which the people of the world could not equal in value. They will say: 'How were we clothed with these?' It will be said: 'Because your child took the Qur'an (i.e., memorized it).'"
