Is it permissible for a 16-year-old girl to give her jewelry in charity?

Islam encourages doing good and hastening to it. The donation of a minor or a person giving charity with a large amount depends on the approval of their guardian. The Maliki school stipulates that for a female to be relieved of guardianship, she must marry, her husband must consummate the marriage, and she must experience life for a period. Other imams, however, only stipulated puberty and maturity. There is also a narration from Imam Ahmad that is close to the Maliki school's view. In summary, a girl's donation is permissible if her father approves it, or if she is married and experienced in managing money; otherwise, it is not.
