Scholars have differed concerning the ruling on photography. If its prohibition is affirmed, then the money earned from it is unlawful, except for one who was ignorant of the prohibition; he may benefit from what has passed. If the money is unlawful, it must be disposed of in charitable causes, unless its possessor is poor, in which case he may benefit from it due to his poverty.
