Should one hasten to complete the marriage after an engagement during which the suitor was afflicted by symptoms of magic and binding, or could that lead to divorce and disputes?

If your fiancé suffers from what was mentioned, it is likely due to magic (sihr) or jinn possession (mass). We advise him to make abundant supplications (du'a), engage in remembrance of Allah (dhikr), recite the Qur'an, preserve his obligatory prayers (fara'id), avoid sins, and continue with ruqyah shar'iyyah (Islamic exorcism/healing). We do not advise hastening the completion of the marriage until he is cured, fearing an escalation of problems and the occurrence of discord and separation.
