What is the meaning of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Subhan Allah! What trials have been sent down tonight, and what treasures have been opened! Awaken the dwellers of the private chambers, for perhaps a woman clothed in this world will be naked in the Hereafter"?

The aforementioned Hadith is authentic, narrated by Malik and Bukhari. Its meaning is that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, woke up astonished and said: "Glory be to Allah! What trials have been sent down tonight? And what treasures have been opened?" Then he ordered Umm Salamah to awaken his other wives for worship. Then he said: "Many a woman clothed in this world will be naked in the Hereafter." The Hadith indicates the permissibility of saying "Subhan Allah" when astonished, the recommendation to remember Allah upon waking up, a man waking his family for worship, especially when a sign occurs, the desirability of rushing to prayer when evil is feared, a warning against tribulations, and guidance on what wards off what is feared.
