What is the ruling on working for a judicial officer who is responsible for notifying and enforcing judicial rulings and decisions issued by the courts?
The work of a judicial officer is not free from violating Sharia due to man-made judicial decisions and rulings. Therefore, if you can limit your work to executing only what is in accordance with Sharia, there is no harm. Otherwise, it is not permissible for you to work in this field, due to the generality of His (Allah's) saying, exalted be He: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty."
