The question

What is the ruling on a white fluid, other than semen or pre-seminal fluid (madhy), continuously exiting from a man intending to perform Hajj, and is he required to perform ablution (wudu') for every prayer, and what should he do if this fluid exits during tawaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba)?

The answer

The fluid exiting a man has three states: semen (pure and necessitates ghusl), pre-seminal fluid (impure with a light impurity, necessitates wudu, washing the penis and testicles, and sprinkling water on what it touched), or other fluids (its ruling is like urine, impure, necessitates wudu and washing what it touched). He who suffers from continuous fluid discharge has the ruling of one with urinary incontinence; he performs istinja, takes precautions, performs wudu for each prayer, and carries out acts of worship that require purity within the prayer time. What exits after wudu does not harm him.
