Is expiation obligatory for one who swore an oath upon the Quran that he would not drink alcohol, then drank it and repented?

Swearing by the Mus'haf (copy of the Qur’an) is an oath for which expiation (kaffarah) becomes obligatory upon breaking it. This is further emphasized if it is combined with swearing by Allah. Repentance from drinking alcohol is obligatory, and an expiation for the oath is required, which is: feeding ten poor persons, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. If one is unable to do any of these, then fasting for three days, as Allah Almighty says: "Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He will impose blame upon you for what you intended of oaths. So its expiation is the feeding of ten poor persons from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it] - then a fast of three days. That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. And guard your oaths." [Al-Ma'idah: 89].
