Is it permissible to buy a house from someone who bought it before me, knowing that this house is built on expropriated land?

If the land was usurped, then you are not permitted to buy the house, and the contract is void. However, if it was owned by someone else and he rented it out, then the lease contract will apply to you with its conditions upon purchase.
