Is money earned considered unlawful if fulfilling job duties requires additional work outside official working hours, and incomplete achievement is counted as complete?

The employee must perform the tasks agreed upon in the contract; otherwise, they are only entitled to the portion of the salary that corresponds to their work. If the tasks are numerous, the employee has the choice to continue or not renew the contract/stop working. If they accept the tasks, they are not permitted to be deficient in performing them. Presenting accomplishments that are contrary to the truth is deceit and consuming wealth unjustly, as Allah Almighty says: ﴿O YOU WHO HAVE BELIEVED, DO NOT CONSUME ONE ANOTHER’S WEALTH UNJUSTLY BUT ONLY [IN LAWFUL] TRADE BY MUTUAL CONSENT FROM YOU﴾, and His ﷺ saying: «The wealth of a person is not lawful except with his willing consent,» and «Whoever cheats is not from me.» Therefore, the employee must strive diligently in performing the required work, while seeking to alleviate it by raising the matter with the officials.
