The texts have urged and encouraged marriage, as Allah Almighty says: "And We have already sent messengers before you and made for them wives and offspring," and Allah Almighty says: "And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty."
Among the beneficial books on the virtues of marriage, its rulings, and the means to its success are: "Tuhfat al-Aroos" by Mahmoud Mahdi al-Estanbouli, "Al-Zawaj fi Dhil al-Islam" by Sheikh Abd al-Rahman Abd al-Khaliq, and "Al-Zawaj al-Islami al-Saeed" by Mahmoud al-Masri Abu Ammar.
Among the books that address the rulings concerning the Muslim woman are: "Jami Ahkam al-Nisa" by Sheikh Mustafa al-Adawi, and "Fatawa al-Marah al-Muslimah" compiled and arranged by Ashraf Abd al-Maqsoud.
