Is it permissible to supplicate with the formula: "O Allah, fill our hearts with Your light until we are pleased with You as a God"? Is there any doubt in designating Saturday for renewing the covenant with Allah? Is it permissible to request to be called upon by a specific group on the Day of Judgment during the reckoning?

If the supplicant intends, by saying (O Allah, nourish our hearts with Your light until we are pleased with You as a God), an increase in faith and contentment with Allah, then there is no harm in it. However, one should limit oneself to the prophetic supplications and avoid those whose meanings are not clear.

There is no objection to a person covenanting with his Lord not to disobey Him from such-and-such a day to such-and-such a day, but he must not believe that this is a sunnah that has been transmitted or an established custom. For piety towards Allah is required at all times, and this does not contradict allocating the recitation of Surat Al-Kahf on Fridays.

There is no harm in a servant supplicating to his Lord to call him on the Day of Resurrection with the people of faith, even though the prophetic supplications suffice for that, including the supplication of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, which includes asking for everlasting bliss and the love of faith and the hatred of disbelief.
