How can I rid myself of sins such as singing, lewd films, and masturbation before fasting for two consecutive months, and why do I not feel closeness to Allah when giving charity and praying, along with the fear of dying while sinning and laziness regarding planned acts of obedience?

One must hasten to sincere repentance to Allah and not underestimate sins, for Allah accepts repentance and rejoices in it. The young man should hasten to marry if he is able, for it is the most effective means of maintaining chastity. If he is unable to marry, he should fast, for Allah has promised assistance and wealth to those who marry for the sake of chastity.
