How old was the companion Malik ibn al-Huwayrith when he said: "We were young men" in the context of the hadith "Pray as you have seen me praying"?

None of the scholars mentioned the age of Malik ibn al-Huwayrith when he heard the hadith, but he was among "young men close in age," which means their ages were likely between puberty (approximately 12-15 years old) and up to thirty. Malik ibn al-Huwayrith al-Laythi was a great Companion who resided in Basra and died there in the year seventy-four AH.
