Is it permissible to receive worldly knowledge or advice and guidance from a dissolute person or women?

The wise word is a believer's lost property; an intelligent person accepts it from anyone, whether righteous or wicked. Abu Hurayrah learned Ayat al-Kursi from a devil, and worldly knowledge is taken from whoever possesses it, even if they are a disbeliever. However, it is preferable to learn from people of religion. If the teacher is wicked, the benefit of learning takes precedence over the harm of his wickedness. Learning from women is permissible, provided there is security from temptation and adherence to Islamic regulations by both parties.
