What is the best way to invite people to the Quran and Sunnah in a society where sins and innovations (bid'ah) are prevalent, given the scarcity of Sunni scholars and their persecution by the authorities, and how can one play a positive role in such a society?

Calling to Allah the Almighty is among the most honorable deeds; it is the mission of prophets, callers to Islam, and reformers. Allah addressed His Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Say, 'This is my way: I invite to Allah with sure knowledge, I and whoever follows me.'" We advise the questioner to seek knowledge that qualifies him to establish a study circle for reciting and memorizing prophetic traditions, and to learn the fundamentals of the jurisprudence of worship and methods of da'wah. Then, he should gradually proceed to memorize the Book of Allah, the texts of Hadith and Fiqh, and books on da'wah and language, so that he may embark on calling to Allah.
