Is it permissible to inform the wife's family about her relationship with a strange man so that they may know the reason for the husband's refusal of her work and to prevent divorce, and is it permissible for the wife to request a divorce due to mixed-gender work, and is it permissible for the husband to keep his wife despite her mixed-gender work for the sake of the children?

A wife is obligated to obey her husband by leaving her job and staying at home, unless the work was stipulated in the marriage contract, or he married her while she was working and her work is free from forbidden acts. If the wife refuses to leave her job, the husband can inform her family to seek their assistance. If the refusal persists, divorce is the solution to protect one's honor and dignity. It is not permissible for a husband to allow his wife to work in a mixed environment because he is responsible for his flock. A woman's request for divorce because her husband prevents her from working is not permissible, especially if the work is forbidden. Boredom from staying at home does not justify a request for divorce; instead, time should be utilized in seeking knowledge, memorizing the Qur'an, and raising children.
