If the Imam is an evildoer (fasiq) due to the worldly act you mentioned, then your prayer behind him is valid, but it is disliked (). Some scholars say that the prayer should be repeated after Dhuhr. If you repeat it after Dhuhr, it is more absolving for your conscience and closer to piety and caution. It is preferable to pray behind an Imam who is free from evildoing (fisq), if possible.
