Is it permissible to listen to and watch clips of some eulogy reciters (qurra' al-ma'atim) to benefit from them in learning methods of delivery?

There is no objection to listening to the aforementioned recitation and benefiting from it. However, what has become widespread in our time, such as dedicating Quranic recitation at mourning gatherings and condolence tents, and bringing reciters for that purpose, all of this is from the innovated matters. Ibn al-Qayyim said: "And it was from his (peace be upon him) guidance to offer condolences to the family of the deceased. It was not from his guidance to gather for condolences and recite the Quran for him, neither at his grave nor elsewhere. All of this is a newly introduced, disliked innovation." And Sheikh Ibn Baz said: "Gathering in the house of the deceased for eating and drinking and reciting the Quran is an innovation."
