What is the ruling on photographing food and sharing it with relatives and friends merely to share joy, while negating ostentation and arrogance?

Originally, there is no harm in a person sending pictures of their food to a friend or relative. However, extensive sharing of these pictures on social media platforms is not commendable, as it may lead to envy, break the hearts of the poor, and cause the owner of the pictures to fall into hypocrisy or blameworthy boasting, which is prohibited in the hadith: "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade eating the food of two who compete with each other [in generosity or showing off]." Therefore, one should protect themselves from such matters.
