It is not permissible to abort the fetus at any stage of its life, and the prohibition is confirmed after the ensoulment. Rape does not justify abortion. The child is attributed to the husband, the owner of the bed, unless it is impossible for him to be the father. The woman must be careful to avoid the causes of rape, and the husband must protect his wife, discipline her, and raise her upon goodness.
