What is the ruling on prayer when a clear, viscous fluid exits about fifteen minutes after urinating, sometimes with the sensation of its exit and other times with visible traces of it?

What typically exits after urination is called wady, and it differs from madhy and maniyy. If the discharge of urine, wady, or madhy is continuous and does not stop, this is considered salis (incontinence). The person experiencing it performs ablution (wudu) for each prayer after its time has begun, and then prays as much as they wish. They are not harmed by anything exiting during the prayer. They should take precautions by washing the impurity or changing their clothes if it does not cause them hardship. However, if this incontinence stops for a known period that is sufficient for prayer and purification, then ablution and prayer must be delayed until it stops, even if they miss the congregational prayer, because certain purification takes precedence. If the discharge is not continuous, one must beware of waswasah (whispering of Satan/obsessive thoughts) and should not pay attention to any discharge unless they are certain of it by hearing a sound or smelling an odor. It is advisable to consult a doctor to seek treatment if it results from an illness.
