What is the ruling regarding one who feels drops of urine exiting during the emission of odors, or sneezing, or involuntary movement during prayer, and what results from that in terms of prolonged urination and ablution and their repetition, and is it obligatory for her to wash the inner and outer garments for every prayer?

This is an answer to a question from a woman afflicted with obsessive doubts (waswasa). The cure for waswasa is to ignore it and pay it no attention. When relieving oneself, one should quickly stand up and not linger. Then perform ablution (wudu') and pray without paying attention to doubts about urine drops exiting. Ablution should not be repeated, nor should prayer be interrupted, unless there is absolute certainty that something invalidating ablution has exited.

If the questioner suffers from urinary incontinence, she should perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, taking precautions, and then pray the obligatory (fard) and supererogatory (nawafil) prayers with that ablution.

The matter is easy, and with doubt, nothing is required. Do not succumb to the whispers of Satan by repeating ablution or prayer due to doubt, for giving in to obsessive doubts opens a great door to evil.
