If the dripping of urine stops after a sufficient time for ablution and prayer, then the ruling of incontinence ( سلس ) does not apply to it. After purification ( istibra' ), it is recommended to sprinkle water on the penis and trousers to prevent whisperings ( waswasah ). Do not exaggerate in performing ablution or in purifying clothes; washing the confirmed spot of urine is sufficient. If you doubt the expulsion of urine, your ablution is valid. One who prays with impurity, forgetfully or ignorantly, his prayer is valid as long as his ablution has not been invalidated. Do not hold back urine. It is not obligatory for one who is not incontinent to perform ablution for every prayer; he may pray as many obligatory and supererogatory prayers as he wishes with his ablution, as long as his ablution has not been nullified.
