Does Adam (peace be upon him) see our deeds based on David's story, which mentions that he (Adam) increased his lifespan by 40 years?

David was presented to Adam (peace be upon them both) during Adam's lifetime. The proof for this is what Ahmad and At-Tirmidhi narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When Allah created Adam, He wiped his back, and every soul He was to create from his progeny until the Day of Resurrection fell from his back. He placed a gleam of light between the eyes of each one of them, then He presented them to Adam. Adam said: 'O Lord, who are these?' He said: 'These are your descendants.' He saw a man among them whose gleam between his eyes impressed him, so he said: 'O Lord, who is this?' He said: 'This is a man from the last nations among your descendants, named David.' He said: 'Lord, how much life have You granted him?' He said: 'Sixty years.' He said: 'O Lord, add forty years from my life to his.' When Adam's life ended, the Angel of Death came to him, and he said: 'Were there not forty years remaining from my life?' He said: 'Did you not give them to your son David?' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'So Adam denied, and his descendants denied; Adam forgot, and his descendants forgot; Adam erred, and his descendants erred.'" There is no evidence for the presentation of deeds to Adam or our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), except what is authentically reported regarding the presentation of our prayers and greetings to him.
