Does the son's daughter inherit from her paternal grandmother?

The granddaughter inherits in two cases: First, if her grandfather or grandmother did not leave any offspring, she inherits one-half. Second, if there is one daughter of the deceased along with her, she inherits one-sixth, as a completion of the two-thirds, and this is agreed upon by scholars. One should resort to the Sharia courts to decide matters of inheritance.
