How can one get rid of the repetition of fornication or masturbation followed by repentance, while maintaining other acts of obedience and lacking the financial means to marry?

Fornication is one of the gravest sins that lead to perdition. The perpetrator must hasten to sincere repentance, which includes abandoning the sin, feeling deep remorse, and resolving never to return to it. Among the things that help in repentance are contemplating the ugliness of the transgression, remembering standing before Allah, realizing Allah's knowledge of the servant, and frequently observing fasts, supplicating, performing dhikr, befriending righteous people, and avoiding causes that lead to forbidden acts. Masturbation is forbidden, and one must repent from it. If a servant repents sincerely, Allah will overlook their stumble and forgive their error, for Allah is Forgiving and Merciful: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'"
