Is it true what was said, that if a debtor delays in repaying his debt, a daily charity equal to the value of the debt is recorded for the creditor until the debt is paid?

Allah has commanded to grant respite to the one in hardship and to give charity to him, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, encouraged this. So, whoever grants respite to one in hardship, Allah will shelter him in His shade, and for him, there is charity every day equal to his loan before the debt is due, and double his loan after it becomes due.
