Is it permissible to work on designing educational stories for children that include the biographies of the Companions and scholars, and the virtues of ethics, with drawings of unspecified characters or of scholars like Imam Malik and Al-Bukhari, and the possibility of legal or human errors in the content?

If Allah blesses someone with a bounty or a talent, they should be grateful for it and use it to serve their religion and benefit their nation. There is an urgent need to produce religiously sound stories as an alternative to frivolous ones. Therefore, if the stories you create aim to educate children on noble morals using meaningful drawings and images of the Companions and the righteous predecessors, there is no harm, provided that they do not violate Islamic etiquette. The majority of scholars have made an exception to the prohibition of drawing for children, for the purpose of their upbringing and education.
