What is the ruling regarding the marriage of a woman who performed Umrah while menstruating, then experienced a recurrence of blood in a subsequent Umrah, and then performed three Umrahs thereafter? And does anything result from that?
If a menstruating woman enters into for , she must wait until she is pure to perform and Sa'i, because Tawaf is not valid without purity, and the validity of Sa'i is conditioned upon the preceding performance of Tawaf. The first Umrah was not completed, and therefore her state of ihram persists. It is not permissible to enter into ihram for another Umrah before exiting the first one. If the second Umrah was valid, it would free her from the first Umrah. However, if the bleeding during the second Umrah is not considered menstruation, then the Umrah is valid; otherwise, the Tawaf and Sa'i are void, and she remains in her state of ihram. A marriage contract () cannot be concluded before exiting the state of ihram.
